Mythological creatures in lord of the rings

Some places and gods in world mythologies are analogous with elements of The Lord of the Rings and The Silmarillion. In this essay, I would like to focus on the similarities between Tolkien’s stories and world mythologies. As a matter of fact, it is a mixture of many mythology. The Silmarillion, The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit are successful inspirations in mythological aspects with its races, objects, gods, places, names and creatures.

Then, he decided to create his own mythology with his stories.

After his studies, he became aware of the fact that England itself had no own mythology. Thanks to his interest in languages, he also inspired the myths and legends of the countries behind these languages.
